SALE CONVEYANCING
Selling a property
Whether you're moving on, downsizing or selling an investment, our team handles the legal side of your sale from offer accepted to completion, and keeps you updated in plain English along the way.
Your sale
What does sale conveyancing involve?
Once you accept an offer, we carry out the legal work needed to transfer the property to your buyer.
We prepare the contract pack, send it to the buyer's solicitors and answer their enquiries, working with you to get the information they need. If you have a mortgage, we obtain a redemption figure from your lender so it can be paid off on completion.
On completion we receive the buyer's funds, repay your mortgage, settle the estate agent's invoice if you ask us to, and send the balance to you.

Initial instructions
We send your initial paperwork and ask for your terms of engagement, proof of ID, completed property forms and an initial payment of £400.
2

We obtain your title from Land Registry and send the draft contract and property information to the buyer's solicitors.
3
Enquiries and exchange
We answer the buyer's enquiries with you, you sign the contract and transfer, and contracts are exchanged on an agreed completion date.
4
Completion
The buyer's funds arrive, the keys are released, your mortgage is repaid and the sale proceeds are sent to you.
